Want a photo in on your desktop on a CD or somewhere else? Just drag the photo from a stack directly onto a contact, a group or onto your desktop. When you drag your own photos you create a copy of the original file. When you drag a photo that was shared PicMe will download the original if it’s available. This even works for plug-ins like Facebook.

Did you know you can use PicMe photo sharing to upload and download photos from Facebook? It’s easy just select Facebook from the plug-in menu of PicMe. Once you authorize the plug-in by entering your Facebook code you can drag photos from PicMe right into Facebook. You can also download photos using the copy button and the photos will be copied to your own photo collection. PicMe is a great tool for sharing photos directly with friends but it’s also a pretty good downloader and uploader. Bonus: If you use Flickr you can upload and download photos from Flickr as well.

One of the things that makes PicMe different is that we focus on high quality photos. We wanted to show some of that quality by allowing you to easily view your photos in full screen. When you’re viewing your photo in the film-strip view just click the photo again and you can view your photos full-screen. You can use your mouse or your keyboard to navigate. Bonus: If you have multiple monitors you get a different photo on each monitor. We’re still ironing out this feature so let us know what you think.
